The Beginning Roots
Since the creation of this website in 2011 my online activity has been my own individual endeavor while often lead by the unction of the Holy Spirit. And now, after prayerful consideration and with the agreement & support of my husband's backing I've decided to start a business venture—selling on eBay. Our store name is W&W's Treasure Trove.
After that, I gradually began learning how to interact on other social media sites to share The King with others. On Pinterest, my original Christian boards (some my own pins and many from others) are now blended with boards of items I and other vendors sell on eBay.
On Twitter my tweets & re-tweets are many. And again I share both tweets about The King & tweets about items in my eBay store. While my Pinterest account shares my eBay storefront website, my Twitter account shares The Kings Tranz4md Scribe's website.
Getting To The Point
My point is this.
Recently, I asked for some advice from a group of seasoned eBay vendors. I was thankful for their honesty and frankness regarding the specifics of becoming a successful eBayer. With grace and humility I took the good criticism along with the not so good and was truly appreciative for all they shared with me, knowing—the way to grow is to learn from other's successes & failures.
I took ALMOST all of the advice given and adjusted my business model accordingly. However, one area I was unwilling to go along with was the separation of my faith from my eBay online profile--tranz4mdscribe.
They suggested if I were going to keep my Christian faith public—I would be leaving money on the table. They suggested not to add "Have a blessed day!" sentiments to my listings. While not all of my listings state this, many do. And that, is by the leading of the Holy Spirit from day to day.
If my King & Savior leads me by His Spirit to write "Have a blessed day!" in my listings and I choose to kowtow to political correctness, whose will am I choosing to follow? The will of God or the will of man?
Christ is my King. His Spirit controls mine. It's His prompting I choose to follow. As His child He will sustain me.
Whether I will or whether I won't become an eBay POWER seller is not the issue in question. The question is this—will I remain in the POWER of the HOLY SPIRIT & act in obedience to His prompting?
Unequivocally, as His child, the answer is YES!
